This is one of Derby's spare cross wheels, a 700C Ghissalo rim built around a Campagnolo Nuovo Tipo high flange hub. The good points of this type of wheel are that the brakes work good in the rain and the wheel handles a rutted surface very well. To describe the bad points, we borrow a phrase from the materials technology guys: Failure mode = sudden and catastrophic. (Don't ask Derby about a matching front wheel if you lust to buy this one.)
